Desktop Messenger for WhatsApp™ is the easiest way to check WhatsApp from your desktop machine. Clicking on the toolbar icon renders WhatsApp Web in a small UI attached to the toolbar popup. Moreover, you will get badge notifications for all incoming messages.
Important Note: Desktop Messenger for WhatsApp™ does NOT belong or is related to the official WhatsApp application at all. It is basically an unofficial extension that is developed and maintained independently. The official WhatsApp software is only released for smartphones and the web. This unofficial extension is a wrapper to the original WhatsApp and tries to make it usable as a browser extension.
